Gospel Moments (8): Made in the Image of God (Part Two)

Genesis 1:27-31 ESV

So God created man

in his own image,

in the image of God

he created him;

male and female

he created them.

And God blessed them.

And God said to them,

“Be fruitful and multiply and

fill the earth and subdue it,

and have dominion

over the fish of the sea

and over the birds of the heavens

and over every living thing

that moves on the earth.”

And God said,

“Behold, I have given you

every plant yielding seed that is

on the face of all the earth,

and every tree with seed in its fruit.

You shall have them for food.

And to every beast of the earth

and to every bird of the heavens

and to everything that creeps

on the earth, everything that

has the breath of life,

I have given every

green plant for food.”

And it was so.

And God saw everything

that he had made,

and behold,

it was very good.

Do you see His power

and glory.

Stop and think

about what

you have just read,

and worship.

God made man.

He made them

in His image.

He made them

male and female.

He blessed them.

He commanded them to be

fruitful, to multiply,

to fill the earth

and subdue it.

He gave them

dominion over all

living creatures.

He provided for all.

God Almighty is Lord of

heaven and earth.

He is KING

over every man,

woman, and child.

He is KING over

every king, lord,

monarch, and judge.

Let us bow down and

worship Him.

Let us give Him

the honor He is due.

Psalm 95:6-7

Come, let us bow

down in worship,

let us kneel before

the LORD our Maker;

for he is our God

and we are the people

of his pasture,

the flock under his care.

He is the one true God.

There are no other gods

before Him.
